IFIB (Italian forum on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioeconomy) matchmaking event 2017

On the occasion of 7th edition of the Italian Forum on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioeconomy - IFIB (Roma, Italy 5 - 6 October, 2017) Enterprise Europe Network partners BIC Lazio and InnovhubSSI, organize IFIB MATCH 2017.

The Italian Forum on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioeconomy 2017 – IFIB2017 is a workshop organized by Assobiotec - the Italian Association for the development of biotechnology – together with Innovhub-SSI, and CUOA – aimed at making a survey of research projects in the industrial biotechnology field with the goal to strengthen the network in the Euro-Mediterranean area and to promote partnerships.

The focus of the forum is biotechnology, as provider of new resources for industries. It is organized into round tables and sessions devoted to specific sub-sectors of industrial biotechnology: circular economy, energy and biorefineries, agro-food, life-sciences, policies on industrial biotech and bioeconomy, bio-based industries; involving international speakers coming from key sector’s players: BInCanada, CLIB2021, Novamont, NextSteppe USA etc. The workshop will also include a session dedicated to shared pilot facilities within the EU project “European Smart Pilots”.

The “EEN Biotech and Bioeconomy Partnering Event – IFIB 2017” is organized in the framework of the IFIB workshop and offers the chance to meet potential partners in pre-arranged face-to-face bilateral meetings in order to establish new cooperation opportunities in research, technology transfer and business.

KAVALAEXPO 2017 International Exhibition for SME's

The Chamber of Kavala cordially invites you, to attend the KAVALAEXPO 2017 that will take place from 6th to 11th of October 2017 and will be held at “Apostolos Mardiris” Chamber of Kavala Conference Centre, Greece.
This year’s exhibition will include also an event on “Tourism Business Sector”. Our Region is becoming one with an emerging tourism economy and one that have gained significant attention from investors, professionals of tourism and companies related to the sector. This fertile business environment has created opportunities for start-up companies within the sector; fuelling economic diversification and growth towards sustainable tourism resources.
We would like to grasp the opportunity and encourage you also to invite tourism companies of your region to participate at the Business to Business meeting sessions to be held during the exhibition’s event.
The six day exhibition will bring together many entrepreneurs, business stakeholders, policy makers, business leaders and key decision makers within the public and private sectors. There will also be exhibition booths from businesses across the region and the cross border area to exhibit their products. On Saturday, 7 of October, the Chamber of Kavala will organize meetings with companies of the tourism sector (i.e. travel agencies, rooms to let, hotels, car rentals, diving centers, alternative tourism agencies, water sports, climbing, religion tourism, ecotourism etc.). On Sunday, 8 of October, it will be organized a guided tour at Thassos Island, which will include transportation from Kavala to Keramoti port and a tour around the island by bus.
Moreover, this year our Chamber, especially for the foreign companies of the tourism sector, will offer a one-night free accommodation at a selected hotel of Kavala. Furthermore, we will provide, for free, a pavilion to foreign business operators (chambers, municipalities etc). In order to ensure a better organization of your participation and accommodation, and the major visibility of your institution we would appreciate your prompt reply by the 21st of August at the latest.

Tour d'Europe Cologne 2017 / ANUGA Pre-Event

The Tour d’Europe event is an opportunity for German buyers to meet food & drink producers from other European countries. The event will organise face-to-face buyer-producer meetings based on specific requests from the German buyers. Producers from all over Europe will travel to Cologne to present their products during the pre-booked meetings. This new type of event is an initiative from Enterprise Europe Network - aiming to connect buyers and producers of the food & drink sector.

In 2015 the Tour d’Europe pilot project proved to be very successful, as food and drink producers from all over Europe came to Edinburgh to meet with Scottish buyers, and showcase their products. As a result a second edition of the tour was organized in Rotterdam and in Stockholm in 2016.

The event will be organised prior to the ANUGA - the world's leading food fair for the retail trade and the food service and catering market. The trade fair will take place from 7 to 11 October 2017 in Cologne.

Registration and participating in this event is free of charge. However, only participants with scheduled meetings will be accepted to the event in Cologne on 6 October. Travel and accommodation is at your own expense. Buyers and producers are encouraged to register on the event's website: https://www.b2match.eu/tour-d-europe-anuga2017.

Company Mission at KAVALAEXPO 2017 Exhibition

KAVALAEXPO is an annual event now taking place for 25 years. KAVALAEXPO 2017 will take place between 6 and 11 October 2017. Hosted and supported by Chambers of Commerce, it is also an annual meeting place for EENs from Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine,Serbia and Turkey. KAVALAEXPO is an exhibition for SME's to promote their products to international partners. This year, the fair will take place in conjunction with the Information Industry Festival organized by the Kavala Technological Institute. Past Company Missions highly successful with PA's also resulting. The aim of this mission is networking and establishing business cooperation between enterprises in the tourism industry.

In the context of the Company Mission some B2B meetings will be held on Saturday the 7th of October 2017.

Jointly with LZG - Landeszentrum Gesundheit NRW (Healthcare cluster in the Federal State of North Rhine-Westphalia) the Enterprise Europe Network team of NRW.International is planning a company mission regarding the health care sector in Denmark.

On the Danish side the company mission will be co-organized by the Foreningen Eu og Internationalt Samarbejde I Syddanmark (South Denmark European Office).

The main objective of the company mission is a visit to the WHINN 2017 conference in Odense on 9th to 12th October 2017. WHINN is one of its kind - one week with conferences, side events, exhibition, matchmaking and networking activities - all within health and innovation.

A country briefing, visits of health facilities and a matchmaking between North Rhine-Westphalian and Danish companies will complete the mission.

R2B meetings within 10th international technology transfer conference

On 12th of October Center for Technology Transfer and Innovation at the Jožef Stefan Institute organizes the 10th International Technology Transfer Conference in collaboration with the International multiconference Information Society (IS2017).
This year’s conference will tackle the following issues:
Research and innovation for Europe
•Responsible research and innovation (concepts, good practices, experiences)
•How to include society into research and innovation planning?

The conference will also host R2B event that will take place between 9th and 11th of October.
Last years' brokerage event attracted over 60 participants from 9 countries.
Since the umbrella conference is in the ICT field, participants from this sector are expected as well as all others that have innovations or products that are connected to ICT. The host organisation is Jozef Stefan Institute, so the participants from other sectors (physics, materials, environment, robotics, biotechnology) are most welcome as well.
Jozef Stefan Institute as well as researchers from other research organisations from the region will be available for R2B meetings with companies.
The main supporters of the event are Slovenian research organisations and entrepreneurship organisations. On the international level the event will be supported by neighbouring EEN partners and some EEN Sector group partners.

Biotech Cluster and SME Mission 2017

Following the successful results from the previous missions, the EU-Japan Centre, Enterprise Europe Network representative for Japan, is organising again a cluster match-making mission in the Biotechnology sector. This mission aimed to support EU cluster organisations and their SME members in their efforts to access global value chains and develop strategic worldwide partnerships and business cooperation.

The mission will give EU SMEs the opportunity to enter the Japanese market and establish technology or business partnerships and therefore increase their innovation capacity and make them more competitive on the global scale. The mission will also contribute to improve the cooperation strategies between EU and Japanese clusters.

The Biotech Cluster/SME mission coincides with the “BioJapan” Expo in Yokohama (http://www.ics-expo.jp/biojapan/en/). During the fair (3 days) participants will attend showcase sessions and B2B meetings and meet with Japanese visitors. In order to maximize participants' partnering opportuni­ties, participants will be able to exhibit in the EU Delegation booth.

Additionally, a partnering event will be organized one day before the fair in Osaka.

A month before the mission, an online pre-departure briefing will be held to prepare for the mission to ensure participants get the most out of it.

OBJECTIVES

Through this mission you will have the opportunity to:

- display your technology at one of Japan’s leading trade shows
- meet potential business partners
- create new business opportunities
- develop partnerships and business cooperation on global
- attend match-making events
- increase your innovation capacity and become more competitive on a global scale (as an SME)
- prepare the ground for practical cluster cooperation across borders and make a more strategic use of transnational cluster cooperation on markets outside Europe in areas of strategic interest (as a cluster)

The all organisation and its related costs such as the fair participation, interpreters, etc... are covered by the EU-Japan Centre. (see the link for more details).

SME and clusters participants can benefit of a €600 grant, provided by the European Commission, through our organisation to help cover the flight and hotel costs that are to be covered by the participant.

Please note: the number of allowed participants is limited to 20 therefore companies interested to the mission will have to fill in an application form and a selection process will take place to select the participating companies.

Brokerage event at the European Biotech and Pharma Partnering Conference 2017 in Osaka, Japan

The EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation as the partner of Enterprise Europe Network in Japan, is organising a Brokerage Event in Biotech and Pharma sectors, which will take place on 10 October 2016 in Osaka, Japan.

Being Japan’s second largest city, Osaka is a major economic center for Biotech and Pharma industry in Japan and hosts several biotech clusters. Historically, a large number of pharmaceutical companies have been concentrated in Osaka. Nowadays, bio-related pharmaceutical companies, food manufacturers and their surrounding companies, including chemical and medical equipment companies are accumulated around Osaka and forming clusters.

During the event, business representatives of EU companies will have an opportunity to attend pre-arranged B2B meetings with Japanese companies from the Kansai region. The event serves a perfect platform to meet representatives of Japanese companies and accelerate opportunities for potential business partnerships between EU and Japanese companies. The event will kick off with an opening speech at 9 AM and the B2B meetings will take place shortly after (from 9:20 PM to 3:50 PM).

The business matching event is reserved only to European Union companies from the following organisations that are involved in the conference: EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation, Advantage Austria, BioM Biotech Cluster Development GmbH, Bio Turku, bioXclusters plus, Business France d’Osaka, Flanders Investment and Trade and to local Japanese companies.

Offshore Energy match 2017

The annual Offshore Energy Fair will be held from 9 till 11 October 2017 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

The event will consist of an exhibition, a conference and an international matchmaking on 10 and 11 October.

The international matchmaking is primarily focusing on offshore energy (oil and gas and also offshore wind). The international matchmaking is organised by Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO). (EEN NL)

With pre-arranged one-to-one meetings, oil and gas and offshore wind companies can find potential commercial and technology partners from other markets.

The Croatian Chamber of Economy and Chambre de Commerce et d' Industrie de Bruxelles ASBL, both EEN partners, are organising a company mission of Croatian companies from the IT and food sector to Belgium. The aim of this company mission is to explore cooperation possibilities in these two very active and strong industry sectors.

The mission was initiated by the Croatian EEN partner, who conducted a survey among Croatian companies in order to see which sectors would be the most interested in participating in such a mission. Companies from the IT and food sector soon turned out to be the most interested in the Belgian market.

The 12nd EU-China Business & Technology Cooperation Fair (Qingdao)

The EU-China Business and Technology Cooperation Fair has been held for 11 editions, with an overall attendance of over 3,120 European enterprises, international organizations, governmental authorities, universities and research institutions as well as more than 5,720 Chinese counterparts. A total of 24,500 B2B matchmaking meetings have been held and reached 2,053 successful cooperation agreements between European and Chinese delegates.

XXI Conference of the free trade zones of the Americas

Tenerife: a fiscal and tax bridge between three continents

Tenerife, the biggest of the Canary Islands, a Spanish archipelago fully integrated in the Fiscal Territory of the European Union, has been selected as the location for the XXI CONFERENCE OF THE FREE TRADE ZONES OF THE AMERICAS that will take place on 1, 2 and 3 November 2017, expanding therefore the borders of AZFA beyond America, as the meeting is being held at the opposite side of the Atlantic as sign of the possibilities of connecting with international markets that this association offers their affiliates.

ICT Cluster and SME Mission 2017

The EU-Japan Centre, Enterprise Europe Network representative for Japan, is organising, for the third time, a cluster match-making mission in the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) sector.

This mission aimed to support EU cluster organisations and their SME members in their efforts to access global value chains and develop strategic worldwide partnerships and business cooperation.

The ICT Cluster/SME mission coincides with this autumn’s "Japan IT Week" trade fair in Chiba (http://www.japan-it.jp/en/aki). During the fair (3 days) participants will attend showcase sessions and B2B meetings and meet with Japanese visitors.

In order to maximize participants' partnering opportuni­ties, participants will be able to exhibit in the EU Delegation booth.

A month before the mission, an online pre-departure briefing will be held to prepare for the mission to ensure participants get the most out of it.

Dutch Photonics mission to Taiwan

The Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO.nl) and the Dutch Embassy in Taiwan, in conjunction with TAITRA, are organising a Dutch photonics mission to Taiwan between 12th-17th of November 2017.

The main focus of this mission is to explore the opportunities for innovation cooperation between Taiwanese and Dutch organisations in the field of Integrated Photonics & Fibre Optic Sensing applications.

The program consists of company visits, networking activities, workshops and matchmaking for 2 parallel missions: a mission focused on Integrated Photonics and Technology Cooperation, and a mission focused on Fiber Sensing and Applications. There will be also some joint activities.

Lithuanian industrial sector companies with activities in 3D printing, electronic and automated control system technology will visit Industrial Machines and Equipment Fair in Ptak Warsaw Expo, Poland, on 14th-16th of November 2017 and would like to meet companies in the 3D sector outside the fair or to invite these companies to participate in the fair.

The fair mainly serves the purpose of making business, targeted at professionals operating within the industry. Cameroon International SME Trade Fair (PMEXCHANGE)

PMEXCHANGE is one of the first international forum dedicated to SMEs in Cameroon. It is organised by ECAM (Enterprises of Cameroon) every 2 years.

International Industrial Bridge 2017 Brokerage Event

For the second time, we have the pleasure to invite you to Szczecin, Poland for a conference and networking event, addressed to metal/steel, maritime and this time also transport/logistics industries. The event will take place on 23rd November 2017.

SPIN OFF and International research cooperation: how to better support SMEs

The advanced training on "SPIN OFF and International research cooperation: how to better support SMEs" will provide information about the spin off opportunities that come along with the COPERNICUS services, tips and rules linked to the Technology transfer (TT) sector and IPR issues (including tips on H2020) as well as up to date information about the EUREKA and EBAN services and opportunities.

Target audience: The training is open to the European and Third Countries’ contact points from the following networks:

Within the framework of Trustech 2017, Business Beyond Borders (BBB), together with its partners and supporting organisations, is launching its fifth international business matchmaking event.

Wind Energy Match 2017

The Wind Europe Fair will be held from 28 till 30 November 2017 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

The event will consist of an exhibition, a conference and an international matchmaking on 29 and 30 November.

The international matchmaking is primarily focusing on wind energy (onshore and offshore wind).
The international matchmaking is organised by Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO). (EEN NL)

With pre-arranged one-to-one meetings, onshore and offshore wind companies can find potential commercial and technology partners from other markets.

B2B meetings will be scheduled via online registration (website is underconstruction) and a designated area will be made available at the event location on 29 and 30 November.
EEN will provide support for the B2B meetings before and during the event, as well as assisting incoming delegations.

Registration is possible for all exhibitioners and visitors of the Wind Europe Fair.

B2B Matchmaking Event at CES 2018

Organized by the European American Enterprise Council (EAEC), with the support of the US Department of Commerce, this B2B Matchmaking event helps "born global startups" and international SME's set up speed meetings (30 min) with numerous potential strategic partners and clients through a very organized and structured process, during five days before and during the International Consumer Electronics Show CES (Jan, Tue 06 & Thu 11, 2018).

Nanotech Cluster and SME mission to Japan 2018

Following the successful results from past years missions, the EU-Japan Centre, Enterprise Europe Network representative for Japan, is organising again a cluster match-making mission in the nanotechnology sector.

This mission aimed to support EU cluster organisations and their SME members in their efforts to access global value chains and develop strategic worldwide partnerships and business cooperation.

The Nanotech Cluster/SME mission coincides with the “nano tech - International Nanotechnology Exhibition and Conference” in Tokyo (http://www.nanotechexpo.jp/). During the fair (3 days) participants will attend showcase sessions and B2B meetings and meet with Japanese visitors.

In order to maximize participants' partnering opportuni­ties, participants will be able to exhibit in the EU Delegation booth.

A month before the mission, an online pre-departure briefing will be held to prepare for the mission to ensure participants get the most out of it.

OBJECTIVES

Through this mission participants will have the opportunity to:

- display your technology at one of Japan’s leading trade shows
- meet potential business partners
- create new business opportunities
- develop partnerships and business cooperation on global markets
- attend match-making events
- increase your innovation capacity and become more competitive on a global scale (as an SME)
- prepare the ground for practical cluster cooperation across borders and make a more strategic use of transnational cluster cooperation on markets outside Europe in areas of strategic interest (as a cluster)

The sectors targeted are among others:
- Nano Materials
- Nano Evaluation & Measurement
- Nano Fabrication Technology

The all organisation and its related costs such as the fair participation, interpreters, etc... are covered by the EU-Japan Centre. (see the link for more details).

SME and clusters participants can benefit of a €600 grant, provided by the European Commission, through our organisation to help cover the flight and hotel costs that are to be covered by the participant.

Please note: the number of allowed participants is limited to 20 therefore companies interested to the mission will have to fill in an application form and a selection process will take place to select the participating companies.
